How does Manor Drive Work?

Manor Drive is an online clothing agency for women who want to sell their authentic designer and high street fashion items. Items bought on impulse, worn once, too big/small or even unwanted gifts.  You present us with your pre-loved clothing and we sell them for you ensuring you get the best price and none of the hassle. We then take a small commission for all our hard work.

How much commission does Manor Drive charge for selling my items?

We charge a competitive 50% commission for our services. Most agencies charge 55% but we want to offer the best service for our customers.

Handbags, Wallets, Purses, Shoes, Boots, Belts

Which designer and high street brands will Manor Drive accept?

If you have high street or designer labels that do not appear on our ‘Labels We Love’ page, please contact us to check eligibility.

What condition do my clothes need to be in?

We only sell authentic designer and high street items that are new or in nearly new condition. Please ensure all buttons, zips and other fastenings are intact and in working order. There are no small holes, laddering, pulls stains or other imperfections on fabrics. All items must be cleaned and pressed before they are sent out to us. We request original packaging and authenticity cards, to be provided with designer items where possible.

How can I start selling with Manor Drive?

Simply register with us and complete the List Your Items form. Alternatively, make a list of items you would like to sell and forward it to info@manordrive.co.uk, or call 07725 648281.

How are my items approved and accepted?

There are two stages to the approval process.

  1. We will view your ‘Items list’ and let you know which pieces we would like to see. The items can then be sent to us by secure post or we can arrange for a free collection if you live in the South Manchester and Cheshire area.
  2. Once received items are checked for authenticity, wear & tear and current style relevance then accepted or declined.

The items that have been accepted will then go on to be valued and a selling price determined.

Recommended selling prices will be sent to you via email. After prices have been agreed garments are steamed, photographed and uploaded to manordrive.co.uk ready to be snapped up by out hungry audience of style hunters.

Any goods that are not accepted can be returned to you or donated to a charity on your behalf.

How do I get my items to Manor Drive?

After items have been approved at the first stage, they can then be sent to us by secure post or we can arrange for a collection if you live in South Manchester, Cheshire and surrounding areas. Please see ‘Style Services’ –‘ Free Collections’ or contact us to see if you are eligible for a free collection.

How will I receive payment for my sold items?

We ask customer to e-mail info@manordrive.co.uk for regular updates detailing your items that have sold, items remaining and your account balance. Payment will be made directly in to your bank account on request. We have to allow 20 days after initial purchase for returns, after this period your Manor Drive account balance will be updated and money can be transferred on the customers request.

What happens if my items do not sell?

If your items are not selling we do one of the following -  Review the selling price’s and reduce them after the first 6 weeks and again after 12 weeks, return the items to you after the 16 week selling period is up, or donate them to a charity on your behalf.

Please allow 4 months for items to sell, if we feel items need to be reviewed at an earlier stage we will contact you to discuss the options.
